Can FlashEye-Dot recognize an iPhone 18 by model name?
FlashEye-Dot is designed to identify supported iPhone models, but exact iPhone 18 model-name recognition will be confirmed after Apple publishes the final lineup and TORRAS completes compatibility testing. Charging can still work even when only a general device label is shown.
Why does the screen show only “iPhone”?
First, model recognition can vary with iOS. Update the iPhone to the latest software and reconnect it; a generic label does not affect charging. Second, iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 Series devices are intentionally shown as “iPhone,” while full model-name recognition is currently available for iPhone 15–17 Series.
Can TORRAS FlashEye-Dot Smart Interactive Display Charger charge the upcoming iPhone 18?
TORRAS FlashEye-Dot Smart Interactive Display Charger supports USB-C Power Delivery and is intended for the upcoming iPhone 18 lineup. Because Apple has not yet published final iPhone 18 charging specifications, exact charging speed may vary by model, battery level, cable and temperature.
Why does an older Lightning iPhone not show a battery percentage?
Real-time battery data depends on USB-C communication. Lightning iPhones can still charge with the appropriate cable, but the charger may not receive the information required to display battery percentage or a full model name.
What makes FlashEye-Dot a smart charger for iPhone 18?
This Smart Charger matches the appropriate power for different phones and adjusts voltage and current throughout the charging process. It supplies up to 45W when supported, reduces power as the battery fills, and displays real-time wattage so charging speed is clear at a glance.
What exactly does the smart display show?
Smart Recognition shows the recognized phone model, real-time charging power, speed, and battery progress. Different charging stages trigger different animated expressions, and single-tap or double-tap controls provide interactive functions. Professional Mode presents more detailed real-time charging information.
Why does the FlashEye-Dot get warm during fast charging?
When a battery is below about 20%, Tora-Ice fast-charging technology can deliver higher power so the device charges quickly. GaN power conversion and multi-stage capacitor filtering help reduce energy loss and keep operation cooler than conventional designs. As the battery fills, charging power automatically falls and the temperature gradually decreases.
Is FlashEye-Dot suitable for charging an iPhone 18 overnight?
Built-in overcharge protection dynamically adjusts power throughout charging. After the fast-charging stage it enters a gentle low-current maintenance stage, then stops normal power delivery when the device reports that it is full. The screen shows the status in real time for stable charging and added peace of mind. Keep the charger ventilated and use an undamaged compatible cable and outlet.
